Is that description correct, because that is a description for the original movie (the sequels sucked).

Damn... That chick is hot... Moving on, I'm assuming this show will be a little different from the original film, I'm guessing it'll be like a darker version Supernatural though with an obvious focus on vampires.

Time is a weird thing. When I first saw Hayek in that Bikini, I thought I'd seen the most unbelievable hips in the universe. It was ridiculous. Looking at her now, her hips seems much smaller. Don't get me wrong, she's still outrageously sexy there, but things are so amplified in the past.

Makes you wonder how you got through late 70s early 80s porn.

I love the original movie, wacky as it is! The sequels were unneccessary and forgetable. I have no idea at all why this is being made, retelling the story from the movie this way just seems like a really stupid thing to do.

The first 2/3 of the season would be a the Gecko brothers [frick]ing things up on their way to the border, and the last 1/3 would suddenly turn into a non-stop "vampire" bloodbath. It was weird in the movie, but as a series...?

SPOILERS REGARDING THE FILM 'DUSK TILL DAWN'

I don't fully understand this. It's clearly remaking the scene from the opening of the first film in the mini-mart. The show has vampires too, but Seth and Richie didn't know vampire were real until they get to the bar in the first film. Soon after arriving at the bar and finding out vampires exist, Richie is killed. Does the show change that? Is it a different continuity where Richie survives the attack at the bar? Or does the pilot episode follow the plot of the first film, including Richie's death, and then the subsequent episodes follow where Seth goes after the events of that? or are they just taking the entire plot from the first film and stretching it out over multiple episodes? I don't get it at all.

I agree with everyone else. This is pointless. Leave it alone.

Not sure that this is a good idea. I've been wrong before about shows. Hopefully, this is one of those that I'm wrong about.

Cannot wait for this. I pray it's good. The original movie is one of my favorite films of all time.
