Some very sad news coming in from Chicago today: Harold Ramis died at 12:53 a.m. from complications relating to autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis - a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels. The 69 year old actor is probably best known for his turn as Egon in the Ghostbusters flicks, but he leaves behind a great body or work as a director and writer including Stripes, Caddyshack, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Groundhog Day and Analyze This.

Thanks for all the laughs Mr. Ramis, our thoughts are with your family at this tragic time.
