An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Cosmopolis), and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck., The Bourne Legacy) and Bryan Cranston (Argo, TV's Breaking Bad).

I really hope we see Godzilla go up against Ghidora in a possible sequel.

I'm disappointed the filmakers have said the creatures he is battling are made for the movie and completely new monsters...I feel the fans want to see the old monsters given a new twist rather, they could just be saying that to divert our attention though, because in the trailer they looked an awful lot like the original monsters!

I saw the WonderCon footage and it was beyond amazing! If that footage is Godzilla's entrance in the movie, it is perfect. BRING ON MAY 16th!!!

I like the design - but I need to see more of him in action. I know the last American Godzilla flicked sucked and I have high hopes for this film - but I need to see more of Godzilla destroying shit xD

If y'all think Godzilla looks fat, then maybe you're just used to the 1998 American version, because every Japanese incarnation has been quite chunky.

Fangoria needs to hire a new graphic designer. Looks like they made this cover in Microsoft Powerpoint

@Comicbookguy543

Toho wont let them use their monsters. If they do a sequel I hope Legendary and Universal make a deal with them so they can use Ghidorah. You can't have a series without his main nemesis.

@Ocelat Ah makes sense now!

@I saw similarities between the original monsters, the one looked similar to Rodan and maybe a bit like Destroyah and the "hook claw" that came down reminded me of Gigan, also what looked like a centipede body (although it could be an armored looking tail) that reminded me of Centipoor..but I'm probably just reading to much into it XD I think it's because I just want to see the original monsters so badly!!!!!

I like the cover because it does remind me of the mags from the seventies and eighties. Check out Fangoria's first issue and you will understand.

With amphibians, fat means dangerous. They're well-fed, strong, and have enough fat reserves to devote the entire day to putting your ass in the ground. Maybe one day you'll all have the anorexic, stick-figure Godzilla that you're pining for. Until then, per Yoda:

"The [frick] over it, you must get."

Is Godzilla gonna be a anti-hero in this film or what?

I wonder will they defeat Godzilla? or somehow force him into a long dormant hibernation? They better do something before he makes Kaiju babies.
