It's been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk. While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.

I agree. I thought the first one was Dreamworks' best film by far. This one looks like that it will continue the legacy of awesomeness.

You can say Star Trek or Star Wars fits in the comic book movie category because they have comic books but they are not based off comic books so I think we have gotten a little loose with the term

@NPaMusicThe site is MOSTLY about comic book movies, and comics, but it also covers stories related to science fiction/fantasy movies/shows, and it has done as long as I been coming on here, which is a lot longer than a few months.

comics shmomics whatever. if they can have a booth at comic-con they can be here. besides, the books have illustrations so let's just call them graphic novels, mmkay?

Comic book or not, any one-legged Viking who can tame, and ride, one of the most doom-dealing dragons of their universe, then team up with him to save your entire culture from a giant dragon that lives in the heart of a [frick]ing volcano, well, that dude's a superhero.
