New Smallville: Absolute Justice Promo

New Smallville: Absolute Justice Promo

This latest promo gives us a better look at some of the DC heroes featured in that much speculated on painting...

By MarkCassidy - Jan 19, 2010 05:01 PM EST
Filed Under: Smallville

The ones we haven't seen or made out from the painting before are Star Spangled Kid(I think), Atom, Wildcat, The Specter, Flash, Hourman, Black Canary and Dr Mid-Nite. I have no clue who the dude on the end in red is!

You can see Smallville: Absolute Justice on 22nd January

I saw the synopsis and it looks as if they are trying to pull off a "Watchmen". You know the death of one of their old teammates pulls them back together...just like in Watchmen

I can't wait for this episode.

For anybody that wants to see something cool, I found a battle sequence on YouTube between Spidey,Iron Man and The Hulk thats pretty kick ass.

I would have put it up on here but I don't know how. Its worth a look if you haven't seen it.

Batson

It proberly doesn't mean anything. They were proberly just trying to get close ups as well as refer to those hero's who are not going to be guest staring.

Fantastic! Can't wait for this!
Smallville has reinvented itself!

BTW, the guy in green on the right
is the original MR. TERRIFIC of the
Golden Age, TERRY SLOANE. He was an
Olympic level athlete, a master of
the martial arts and a self-made
millionaire by his 20's back in
the 1940's.

He was bored with his life in his 20's
and was contemplating suicide by
jumping off a high bridge but he saw a
girl jump herself and acted quickly to
save her.

She was despondent over her brother
being in a gang. So Sloane decided to
adopt the MR. TERRIFIC guise to save
her brother from the gang and then went
on to found the FAIR PLAY club to help
young men keep away from gangs. Thus
the "FAIR PLAY" on his shirt front.

He was nicknamed, "The Man of a 1000
Talents" because he had the super-
quality of learning anything almost
instantly! He died but was brought back
in present times every once in awhile
through time travel and the spirit world.

The modern MR. TERRIFIC was a copy of
him in the new JSA although the original
MT was Caucasian and the new one was
African-American. The new one was killed
too, just recently.

IonGL2814 - 1/19/2010, 6:55 PM
@DDD sorry man Mr. Terrific is alive and well, he was never really killed, long story
and technically so is the first kinda (whole Blackest Night thing)
This is gunna be great, I'm just wondering if we're gunna see some of the others in the painting, cuz in the first promo you saw sandman and the green lantern's ring, soooo idk that'd be cool tho
great either way, very pumped

DDD - 1/19/2010, 7:10 PM
IonGL@ I haven't been keeping up with
THE BLACKEST NIGHT thing on account I'm
a stalwart MARVEL fan! Thanx for the info!

But I like DC too and I'm a Smallville fan!
Just don't keep up with DC as religiously
as I do with MARVEL!

Longbow @ They change the [frick]ing airdate dammit, bloody CW but atleast it ain't SONY! : P
Flipwolf
Flipwolf - 1/19/2010, 7:28 PM
Confirmed that it will air on February 5th due to the fact that the original date was with it airing on the 22nd and the 29th as two one hour episodes, instead they will show it on the 5th in a 2 hour block. The "Warrior" episode will air on Jan. 29th now.....
