Wow. And Arnold thought the first one was ugly.

@grif - What's wrong with a guy fighting a predator with a sword? Could be fun. The other movies tell us Predator protocol is to only use the wrist blades in this situation. Hope this guy is better with a blade than Billy in the first one and Bill Paxton in the second one.

Im curious if that underbite is a redesign or if its a jawbone of something hunted that is being worn as a trophy or ceremonial or something.

Ror, might sound weird, but it looks more like a skinned gorilla. Look at the size of the legs and arms and that torso, doesn't match up to any Predator I've seen on film or conceptually.

Movie looks like it has the same formula as the first one. I'm excited to see this! But what's up with every Asian stereo type character in movies? They have a Yakuza member using a sword in a modern day? Give me a break! No one uses swords these days. It's the modern day, THEY USE UZIS,PISTOLS and other type of deadly guns for cyring out loud. STOP having Asian characters doing Martial Arts/Sword fight all of the time, Especially against Predators? SO LAME Rodriguez!

@Sunfire - But, if you want to have a sword fight with Predator, its still the most believable scenario, isn't it? Some guy with a broad sword from the Renaissance fest just isn't going to fly.

Definitly a trophy on the helmet... there are all sorts of helmet designs and "attached trophies" for Pred designs.... its not an underbite.

My only thing is I just hope that they don't kill all the preds.... thats what ALWAYS happens. Pred comes to earth... fights bad ass and dies. it makes them seem like pussies to be honest.

For once I want to see a pred come to earth, do what they do, then leave... It brings the threat factor back into the franchise. I'm a big fan but for right now they all seem to be pussies.

@zeonsdemon - Um, have you watched the first two movies? Danny Glover killed one with a bladed object. I mean, I always kind of got the impression that the Predator was just toying with him and then screwed up, but still. I think the sword fight is a cool idea. I say go for it.

Some of the predators look more like the original than the others. The one facing away in the forth pic looks like the original.

Also these don't look like "redesigns" in predator 2 there were all sorts of Preds, we don't know what they look like because they had their masks on. And I'm sure they don't all look alike. The Predator in 1 and the Pred in 2 look completly different in the face, body markings and color schemes... They've always looked different.

Oh and AVP1 doesn't count.
AVP2 got the Preds Right

@thatiscrazy - yeah, but the Predators kill dozens of other bad@$$' before they get killed by one uberbad@$$. All the times they come to earth and hunt completely successfully are boring and/or depressing!

I was actually hoping that since there are more predators in this movie one of the human killers besides the main character would actually pull out a win one round.

@MassExecutions you have a point. and it would be cool to see a secondary character take out a pred since there will be so many.

I hope its the guy with the katana... that pred looks out classed. It would have been cool to see a "slimmer" agile pred fighting this guy with a sword... i mean preds have swords to. The Samuri should own this pred! Katana over "WackAssPaulWesAndersonImpracticalWristBlade" Anyday

I hope they find a story. How is it going to make sense that humans land on a Predator planet, before they turn up battle Arnold? Or if you take in P2, then they've been here all along and no one has communicated these strange happenings.
I think someone creative needed to take over the AVP thing. It's today's modern monster movie. You're able to set it on any planet and in any time period. Simple.
