A Bleeding Cool reader sent this animated GL poster with logo into them from the WB lot...





Not sure if this will be used in any kind of official advertising for the film, but pretty cool none the less. We have seen what Hal Jordan(Ryan Reynolds) will look like as Green Lantern in a couple of animated/comic book renderings now, still no look at the actual actor in all of his CGI costumed glory, but expect something from Comic Con.

Green Lantern is directed by Martin Campbell and stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Tim Robbins and Angela Basset. Its release date is scheduled for June 11 2011.

If this is for the movie why doesnt it look like Ryan Reynolds? Cool poster either way.

Good question longbowhunter. I think its just for show. I cant wait to see Reynolds own the part of Hal Jordan and to see posters of him as Green Lantern!!!

Like Lee said... EPIC! I'm so freaking stoked for this movie. I'm glad the studios realized that DC has so much more to offer than just a live action Batman and Superman. Of course I would still kill for a supernatural Spectre thriller. Take me on a journey through Heaven and Hell!

I'm sure it won't be anything like an official poster Deadpool, probably just some early mock up knocking around the lot. ..but that definitely is based on RR gawd demmit! Even Bleeding Cool says so, and they know everything, English lads don't you know? Anyone that drinks tea everyday is alright by me.

yeah this cant be for the movie that doesnt look like reynolds.. Hopefully this movie turn out to be as good as its cast and expectations.. there's been a lot of shit movies lately, this is a hopeful for me.. notm uch from now till this release that im excited for

haha, Pooch I couldn't care less who can or can't see it, I'm not saying its an exact drawing of his face, I'm just saying that, to me anyway, its clearly sketched to resemble him more so than the usual way Jordan is sketched. But everyone sees different stuff.

Ryan Reynolds doesn't have a cleft and his face isn't that lean. It's just a photoshop illustration.

White gloves FTL. They should go with something more like the First Flight costume.

@Dangerman That's Alex Ross' work right? He usually uses models to help him. That's prolly how old the model was :P
