Looks like it could be pretty good. Bit hard to tell I guess. Anyway, Jackman re-teams with his X-Men Origins: Wolverine sparring partner Kevin Durand for this. It also stars Lost's Evangeline Lilly

Hugh Jackman plays Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

I like Hugh Jackman, and everyone likes fighting robots (especially when those fights aren't filmed like they're in Bourne movies (*cough* TRANSFORMERS *cough*)), but from director SHAWN LEVEE doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

This is cool.....really cool

I like Jackman in just about anything he does, so I'll be seeing this for sure...

Plus Kevin Durand is in it, and he is flat out AWESOME!

This looks EPIC! Loved every second of that trailer and i'm a huge fan of Jackman's so i'll certainly line up to see it :)

Seems like Robojox only a tad smaller and in a boxing ring. That's a win in my book ;)

this looks like a waste of this guys talent, wheres the tension,wheres the drame, you took all of that out of a fighter movie and put on some tech nerd that builds fighting robots??? sounds like crap to me.

I'm just glad they didn't make an arcade type competition game movie, having teens take part in it to win a title or something. They thought of the best concept possible to make a live action film of the toy, which seems to be a logical and fun outcome so far. The film looks like a good time to me so i'll watch it. I mean, it's not a nobel prize type of story but i find it far away from being stupid like Revenge of the Fallen or GI Joe. Not every movie needs to be "Inception" to be a good film. An action movie is an action movie after all. As long as it's nicely filmed and that the plot is solid, the acting seems to be on par so i don't see it suck... yet.

I'll look forward to this movie only for Hugh Jackman and Spielberg. Jackman is a decent actor so I would like to see what attrack him to this project...
