Cosmicbooknews are citing sources close to the production of Superman: Man Of Steel who have informed them that Lindsey Lohan is in the running for the role of Clark Kent's young love interest Lana Lang...

I've been told Lohan is up for the role of Lana Lang; that she will be a popular girl in high school who doesn't give Clark the time of day. While Clark can't really show Lana who he really is (a super man), she eventually discovers for herself when sees Clark do a rescue.

And that's all I have been told about Lohan.


The Lohan rumor just won't go away, and like I have said in the past I have it on pretty good authority that it isn't just a rumor, Lindsey Loghan IS involved and has been in talks in some form or another with Zack Snyder's Superman reboot...probably! At any rate, if Lana is the role she is up for, how would that go down with you CBMers?

She's a crackwhore. Plain and simple. There's plenty of other young red-headed actresses out there with a DECENT moral compass.

I'm not saying I'm a fan or ever have been a fan, but Lohan use to be a likable person on screen. However, her recent antics have taken their toll. And that translates to how people perceive her on the big screen. If this turns out to be true than this will either be a disaster on the part of Snyder, or it will be something of a brilliant move. Especially if Lohan becomes that likable on screen persona again. But it will be a big gamble in my opinion if they cast her as Lana Lang.

I'm all for Lindsay to be in the movie, (: Lana would be awesome.

But I don't think they're going with the Spiderman High school style reboot. Especially not with a 30 + Lois Lane in the picture.

Meh, she'll probably get a part in the film and we'll all complain. Personally, i'm still not to keen on snyder directing and so far the choices he's made for this movie have not been good.

That would not suit well with me at all! She doesn't deserve the role! Even if it just just a few minutes of screen time I still don't want her to be Lana. Give it to a better looking red-head. In the real world, CK would never find a crack whore attractive. So casting Lohan would just make the film waaaay too unrealistic, especially with the casting of Adams, they can't afford this miscast.

EPIC FAIL!

This part of the mythos does not need to even be explored. I get that there will be some origin but they are gonna bore us for almost two hours then give us a half hour of action and think we will forget that we fell asleep for the majority of the movie. This might be a netflix movie

Come on guys you know this is a rumor and probably a false one. Snyder and Nolan are both well accomlished filmakers I don't think they'll cast Lohan in any movie. Hell I don't think anyone would cast her in anything.
