Hero Complex had this new pic from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and it's a lot more gritty an image than anything we have seen from the movie so far.



My first thought was that this was a scene from Gollum's cave but those spiderwebs mean it's more likely post Mirkwood Spider fight. We will find out when the movie opens December 14th.

@FrankGarret Ah, yes...my favourite scene in The Hounds of Baskerville. When he pulled out that Captain Watson swag.

Can't wait for this film. Brilliant director. Brilliant actors. Gorgeous cinematography. Future money well spent in my opinion.

I hope they include the riddle battle between Gollum and Bilbo. It'd also be sweet if they include the riddle-like introduction that Bilbo gave when he first met Smog.

This movie looks great, but it is not the most anticipated movie for me by any means. Whether you've read the book or not, we all know how it ends! I still give it to TDKR and The Avengers!

@sarahsatire I'm sure they have some new music, but I'm glad they're keeping the Hobbit theme intact. Bilbo's narrating over the music in the teaser is poetry.

Definitely my most anticipated movie of 2012. December may be a little ways off right now, but it's worth the extra time to make sure that everything is just right.
