We finally have our first look at the BSG prequel series which tells the story of a young William Adama. It looks really good, even if it does take more than a little influence from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo!..

We have had a read of the full breakdown for the pilot and we know that the series will see a young Bill Adama fighting the good fight in the first Cylon war, where he must escort a young woman who turns out to know some vitally important Cylon secrets. It will air on Syfy at some point but we have no set date yet. I'm a bit disappointed that everyone's favourite one eyed frakkin skin job Saul Tighe doesn't make an appearance since he and Adama were supposed to have been friends since back in the days of the first Cylon war. But maybe he will make an appearance as the series progresses. Anyway what's the verdict BSG fans? You liking the look of this so far?

I didnt watch the new BSG... but i did watch Caprica and enjoyed it so maybe i will check this out

Looks great - I'm psyched. I agree with a few above though, really wish they'd finished Caprica. Great show with a forced ending. A lot of people are too programmed to accept a little change of pace - even when it's done well. Anyway, here's looking forward to Blood and Chrome!

In the old BSG they encountered some alien lifeforms. The new BSG did not and it was for the better. It was dark, more military-like. Very good show.

Whoever made the trailer for GWTDT should have been shot in the first place. That was one of the most annoying trailers ever made. However, despite the blatant rip off of that trailer, this still looks good. But wasn't Bryan Singer getting ready to do yet another BSG remake too?
