When Jim Lee returns to art duties on Justice League #9, he will be bringing a new villain with him. Geoff Johns will be penning the brand new story " The Villains Journey", and below we have out first glimpse at what that villain will look like thanks to an early design sketch by Lee..



Pretty cool design, some interesting children's face..things going on with his forearms there too. What's the verdict? More details as we have em, the solicitation is below.

There is a definite Abe Sapien look goin on, and a bit of one of the Snake Men from Masters Of The Universe! Still looks pretty cool though. But wait for it, the Marvelites will automatically hate it and scramble to compare it to someone from Marvel, the DCites defend it to teh hilt as the greatest villain design ever:)

I'm getting very fed up with the new 52 the comics are mindless and boring I'm hoping DC wakes up and says this is all a "Crisis" and everything goes back to normal. Also since Barry created this new world he needs to go. Jim Lee needs a kick to the nuts and Dan Dido needs to stop forcing the lame Blue Beetle down comic readers throats

Jim Lee was the reason that I got into comics when I was younger. His art was always solid and blah blah blah...

His designs have never impressed me, sadly.
