Wrath Of The Titans opened with a bit of a whimper this past weekend, failing to live up to its predecessor's opening BO. It was a better movie though, at least in my opinion (you can read my review here). Better but still not particularly good.



It's Tuesday, so I'm sure a good deal of you who were going to see it have by now. So was the steady stream of brilliantly realized monsters and non stop action enough for you? Caught it last night. It was ... 'alright'. I didn't think it was a huge improvement over the first, but it had some decent fight scenes.

I thought wrath was beyond bad, all I was hoping for was some decent action sequences I wasn't going in expecting the plot to be good (it wasn't) but the action was rubbish. The fights all seemed rushed and underwhelming the main fight was just dull, clash had better action scenes, the final fight is just pathetic. Most films I see their is at least one redeeming feature however this just failed across the board, poor plot, dull action, bad dialogue, fairly poor performances, pointless 3d. I saw clash and thought it was much better than I expected this I thought might be good but no no no not by a longshot I would definitely say this isn't worth watching hell not even worth pirating

@Morningstar I basically just wrote the same thing on the results page. Totally agree with you! Couldn't be bothered to finish typing my thoughts on it....pathetic movie.

I liked Immortals more. Worthington is a horrible actor. They need to do a movie like Immortals that shows how Zeus came into power by defeating the titans.

Poorly wrote and poorly acted, another terrible waste of talented actors by Jon boy. I give up on him. He's now had four movies and all four have either been wasted potential or straight up terrible. Darkness Falls was painful. TCSM:Beginning was a waste of R Lee. Battle:LA was shot so badly that it became a chore to make it all the way through and now Wrath which someone gets Fiennes and Liam and does nothing with them while the movie struggles to make an hour and 40 interesting. I no longer think Michael Bay is the main problem with a Ninja Turtles reboot, I think THIS guy is the main issue now.

The trailer hooked me in but ultimately the movie was a let down. Everything just "happened", there was no real rhyme or reason to it. Kronos looked cool and his shear size and scale was captured well on screen but again, he was dealt with way too quickly for a big boss fight. I think my biggest issue though was Sam Worthington. Dude, if you're going to continue acting then you'll have to take on a voice coach. Having an ancient Greek demigod speaking with a thick Australian accent was laughable (and I'm Australian).

maaannn...i TOO got hooked by the trailer and planning to watch it with my two sons to see all the nightmare-inducing, but, cool looking monsters.

but, with all the bad buzz bout it, i've got my reservations now.
