Okay, first of all, what the frak is up with the stupid artificial womb sack deal? Lame. They just HAD to change his origins somehow. They couldn't have just left him being born from,...ya know...his mother, like normal. And second, that last panel, AWWWWWWWWWWWW. Haha.

That's why you purchase the comic @LEVITIKUZ - You obviously don't read the comic, or you wouldn't comment in such an ignorant manner.

@cipher, I'm with you, at first the kid seemed too much like a punk, but am growing to respect the major 'jumps' DC is willing to make to bring good 'story' to their various series. This kid is different. It's new. It's not the 'same-ol, same-ol'... and THAT is a really good thing.

Why do people whine about major story arc changes? What exactly are you looking for when you purchase entertainment? Do you understand why television shows only last (on the average) from three to eight seasons? It's because, no matter how good the basic story-line is, people tire of seeing the same basic thing week-after-week. This is why great shows like Seinfeld, King of Queens, M*A*S*H, and of course the classic A-TEAM shows just don't last (some of those were a joke)... no matter how good they were, they...get...boring. COMIC BOOKS have lasted for DECADES! Why? Because they are willing to take risks and be creative.

All you whiners that hate this aspect, please keep your idiocy to yourselves.

I agree that Damian is an annoying SOB. I don't know why they had to make him such a dick....(no pun intended). I also agree that Dick Grayson and Tim Drake are the best Robins. But, all I'm saying is, Jason is awesome. He's grown on me. And he has become quite the boss. Red Hood is third on my favorite Bat-family peoples list. (Batman being first, Nightwing being second of course). All I'm sayin..... :)

I usually would agree that I'd be annoyed by Damien but when tomasi writes him he has certain charm. Actually Morrison writes him rather well too.

What are you talking about? That is his origin. Nothing has been changed except for maybe Talia raising him. I don't mind that change at all.

Go read Batman and Robin volume 1 issues 1-16. It's my all time favorite run! When Damian meets with Talia as Robin he sees another baby just like that.

Yeah, Wingding. Have you ever actually READ anything about Damian? That's always been his origin.
I like Damian. He's different from the other Robins and he's a challenge.

But my favorite Robin was Grayson.
