First Teaser Trailer For GAME OF THRONES Season Three

First Teaser Trailer For GAME OF THRONES Season Three

At a mere 15 seconds this is the definition of short and sweet, but it serves as an intriguing tease of what's to come. Check it out after the jump..

That was even shorter than the first teaser for season 2! Anyway, I must say I have no idea who that is providing the voice-over, pretty sure it's not any of the regulars and one of the new cast members, but which one? Any ideas?

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.

It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'

Pretty sure the voice-over comes from Quaithe.

Cersei? Sounds nothing like her! Nor would she be saying anything so thoughtful.

Westeros.org reckon it's Tara Fitzgerald as Celise Baratheon.

I'm not sure who that voice belongs to, but I'm pretty sure it's not Circe

dont worry no spoilers here.

in book 2 and season 2 Tyrion and Arya were the focus, if you noticed in the show, while characters like Jaime were almost not there at all. in book 3 it switches around and Jaime becomes a central character and in my opinion this is where he becomes one of the best characters in the entire series. theres more that non-book readers have surely figured out, like we will finally see Mance Rayder (someone only mentioned until now) and what he and the wildlings are up to.

also for those astute non-book readers who are wondering still what the Tickler was talking about when he tortured all those people asking about the Brotherhood and "how much gold is in the village" etc. you'll find out.

Well, the ad pinned to the teaser was longer than the teaser itself but I've been noticing a lot of that lately and it still has me looking pretty forward to 3•31•13!

It's not Melisandre. Are lots of you missing the voice recognition parts of your brains or something?
