A Twilight movie up for a Razzie is no surprise, but Bill Condon's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II has managed to pick up a nom in every category there is. Peter Berg's abominable Battleship picked up 7 noms, with the likes of Resident Evil: Retribution and Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance also singled out for some love hate. Good, those movies deserve it. A little sad that Liam Neeson is nominated. Doesn't really deserve it. Even in those shitty movies, his performance was at least serviceable.

Bill Condon should stop working on bullshit and just do the Richard Pryor biopic, he actually decided to work on Twilight over Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said. Clearly Marlon Wayans is committed to the film more than Condon is.

I loved Battleship. I think that the script that was put together off a board game was well done, I think Peter Berg directed a solid, fun film and I believe that timing over all hurt this movie. I went into watching thinking, no fracking way was I going to like it, I kept saying to myself it is based of a board game for crying out loud! But it surprised me. If I had one complaint it would be that maybe the exo-suits, weapons and vehicles did resemble a little too close to the Transformers franchise. This did not however affect me in a negative way.The soundtrack was well done as-well.

I did not see thats my Boy as I skipped Jack and Jill the previous year for the same reason-both movies looked really stupid in the trailer. Jack and Jill swept the razzies this year and I wonder of Thats my Boy will do about the same this year. I guess its just a paycheck to Sandler. Glad twilight is on here.
