There is a very high quality fan-made Nightwing short in production, and one of the stars - award winning Canadian actor/Pro Wrestler Brady Roberts - has sent us over a first look at this brief teaser. Check it out after the jump.

Fan made superhero films are a dime a dozen, but there is one in production in Canada right now that promises to be a little different. With a high budget, utilizing $100,000 worth of equipment (including RED epic cameras) and featuring a cast of prolific Canadian actors, the full 4-minute trailer for Nightwing: Prodigal Son should be with us by the end of January. But for now take a look at this 40-second teaser, featuring glimpses of Bane, Catwoman and Harley Quinn among others.





Nightwing himself will be played by actor/stuntman Brady Roberts, and we'll have an interview with him coming up very soon in which he'll tell us all about the production so keep an eye out for that.

@dezdigi, one of the coolest fan films i've seen, and its probably because i was a side scroller beatem up fanatic, was DOUBLE DRAGON: THE REVENGE
It's the best double dragon fan film out there although it might not be the best fan film out there, but if you've ever played double dragon or were a fan of double dragon in any way, you might find this a lot more satisfying than that horrible big budget version:

Its sad that some people will never be happy with anything and be really negative all the time this looks really cool, high quality, great costumes, looks true to comics.... why not give it a chance?

If Nolan had delivered good "Batman" films, we wouldn't have so many fan films featuring the Batman crew.

I would LOVE if they released a full movie by the crew that did the Batman Vs. Predator fan film. Batman looked ideal and was perfectly cast. Joker (actor is now dead) was amazing. The filmography, editing... just everything about it was what every Batman fan has been waiting for.

Can anyone honestly tell me that the short film was not much better than the Nolan films?
