I think this is pretty cool and talking of GL and then going back quite a few months to when IonParralax's GL fanart competition.

When is the next one?!

Would really like one as I missed the Superheroes day off one annoyingly!

as ive said before, i dont know all that much about GL (apart from what ive read on Wikipedia) but i thought Reynolds was an ok choice...until this picture! he just looks a little weedy for the part. still, this is only a (really good) fan made pic so who knows how it will turn out!

Wow. That is a great fan made costume of Rayner's version.^^

That being said, I still wouldn't be caught dead in that....

And as far as the fan made one on Reynolds, it looks like he should be with rest of the lame-ass Justice League from Smallville. Not a good thing.

Not a very good stylized look for GL, I'll wait to see what we have to REALLY look forward to before I let myself get excited.
I'm not entirely dissappointed in the casting here, Reynolds looks an AWEFUL lot like Hal, I just hope they tone down the humor enough that he doesn't come across as campy, or ridiculous.

Like the suit. Too bad his face and posture doesn't go with it. He looks confused, like where the eff did this suit just come from. All I can say is the GL movie had better not be a comedy. It needs to be serious, and maybe have Guy getting his assed beat for comedy relief.

I love Reynolds and all, but Deadpool is still a better match to him. YES this will be a big payday, but NO he isn't Lantern material. Not because he cannot play the role right. I bet he can, but Deadpool is so much better in his hands than almost anyone else...granted they will have to get rid of the Baraka wannabe BS they pulled already in order for it to work though.

Honestly this role would have been better served in the hands of someone a little more matching the character. There is a universe of better choices and this fanpic shows us just a glimpse of why...

it may look pretty good but don't forget who's behind the mask! GL will suck balls if RR isn't removed. BTW, doesn't fox hold the rights to marvel made flicks while the WB owns the rights to DC movies? Please God let Deadpool get delayed so it runs through GL's schedule. That movie is gonna suck anyways!

I don't know about busting out Green Lantern for a movie. He has to recharge the ring, can't touch or do anything with yellow, its controlled by his mind. Its going to have to be a hell of a good story.

Im not gonna go see this film! I rather see JT in that outfit than Reynolds... you might be thinking that im stupid for saying this but Warner Bros knew what they were doing for the screen test... Think about it! They wouldnt say "Hey Jackie Chan, would you like to do a screen test for GL?" Nope! JT must of captured somebody's eye, right? Plus playing 3 chacters is overkill for me... You cant really cross over like that! Look at Halle Berry! If I was Marvel I would fire Ryan, wouldnt you? Just for crossing over like that! Its wrong for Wesley Snipes to play Blade and wanting to play Black Panther but Reynolds could do any of it! That goes for Ray Park too!

im sort of warming up to the idea of Ryan Reynolds playin Green Lantern. Overall I think it will be a great movie. I just think that he should have been casted as the Flash like he originally wanted to be. We all know and agree that RR would have been a fantastic Flash.

Have some faith, most of you know this guy is still an untapped talent. We have yet to see the best of Ryan. I too wanted deadpool first, but as I said before two very different heros here. This movie will be great and Ryan will make believers out of us just like Downey did. Hardly anyone saw Downey as iron man when it was first announced and look how we were rewarded. This will be just the same, maybe better.
