So the red dwarf is 27 light-years away which is said to be the proper distance because Superman is 27 years old. But he did arrive as a baby, didn't he? Since there is no other star within a one light-year distance to earth, Superman's spacecraft must have travelled faster than light or have passed a wormhole etc. So the whole point identifying the Star/Krypton's sun by the 27 light-year distance doesn't make sense in the first place.

Hmm so if they're searching for a planet that existed 27 light years away and superman is 27, at which speed SM's pod had travelled? If it was at lightspeed he should've been an adult already when leaving the pod, right?

zane is a more than a decent actor, now although that's not a glowing recommendation, i think he can play the borderline charming/intimidating luthor, the type the actor who played doom in the ff movies tried to be .. and he has the voice for it too..

I wasn't blaming them for implicitly stating Superman's spacecraft was faster than the speed of light. Sure it's a comic. So it is "possible" to go faster than light or use a wormhole or teleport or whatever. I even addressed that possibility myself. My point rather was that if Superman's spacecraft went through a wormhole to bridge the distance from Krypton to Earth, the wormhole could have bridged 27 light-years as well as 15, 100, 5000 or whatever. So the 27 (light-)year issue is obsolete.

But anyway I liked it. Especially that they used the John Williams theme in the background.

Nice @Froggy. And Zane would make a great and so very arrogant Luthor. IMO Luthor needs to be like Nucky Thompson on Boardwalk Empire i.e he is a humanitarian in they eyes of the public and media and he has complete influence on who runs/gets elected for mayor and DA etc. He runs the city...its organised crime and city hall except no-one is aware how he really is the one pulling all the strings.
