Judging by the cliffhanger ending and this interview with James Marsters, there is indeed going to be a Dragonball sequel.

	Marster was the best thing about that movie, he devoted himself to making piccolo what the fans wanted. hopefully w/ the next they only focus on the sayian saga so they don't have to mash 200 some episodes into a 90 minute movie, and the casting for Vegeta better be damn good. 	I'm sorry SGA, I know your probably excited about this news but I am gona have to agree with AVEN on this one & also add a screaming WWWHHHHHHHYYYYYYY?????!!!!!!! all I can say is I hope for their sake they get it right the second time around. if not I will be forced to kill some of those Fox asshole, & some one please tell me James wong & Ben Ramsey aren't on board again??? 	They Still should've stuck more to the Script. Goku already had his Training in fighting when he was a BOY. Thats when he First met Roshi! Things like that...they got him going to school as a teenager like its 90210 or Something! Thats not right at all... You can put your own flavor into a Move and Stcik with script. 	at least James is commited enough to try and explain the crazyness of the dragonball universe to some tv guide lady. ya know? he seems to know the history well and hopefully he'll be a saving grace when it comes to the acting and direction of the second film, and the first one of course. if anything it'll give me something to do over the weekend other than celebrate easter. 	... so now we are suppossed to believe the same liar that said the budget was 100 mill... this movie's box office in every country (except china) has shown a mediocre first week (mostly based on curiosity, which the leaked bootleg might help kill) and then a huge drop in ticket sales, which at the same time makes theaters get rid of it as soon as possible. The extremely bad reviews sure aren't helping, and Fox's damage control marketing strategy just shows how desperate they are (made up sequels, interviews to the cast showing how "commited" they were, etc.). As for everyone that says, hopefully the second one will fix everything that was wrong with the first... (they'd have to spend at least an hour explaining the plot holes in the first), if the first makes good BO numbers the sequel will be exactly the same, it will follow along the same lines and they'll come up with a crappy excuse for doing it ("for Vegeta to work as a believable character, we had to make him be a foreign exchange student from germany, we just couldn't have him crash land on a pod after all it wouldn't look believable", or something along those lines). This movie's sequel won't get green lit until the US box office numbers start rolling, and I'm positive that the numbers in the US won't be good. NoobMike - 4/9/2009, 8:07 PM
	any fan of the show claims this movie is awsome, and fantastic, isnt a true fan of the show. I cant understand why some ppl said this movie is the shit, plz explain to me why its good?, and Why I should go spend my money to go see this movie even though I seen it on the internet. In my opinion I thought the movie didnt make sense, Goku character was more like Luke Skywalker from Star Wars. Master Roshi and Grampa Gohan was based of mister Miyagi from the Krate Kid. Yamcha's character was based off of Han Solo. The only ppl who are to blame to make this movie is James Wong.
