Question How the hell can you do a venom movie without spiderman

holy shit i have to say i do sort of agree with supermike someone hit me please but no i do i mean i like venom i do but to me venom isn't venom without his hatred for the webslinger i say no following spiderman 3 (the thought of that movie needs to leave my head) no topher grace that is bad they shouldn't have used him anyway and they don't need a wrestler to play eddie brock just a tall built guy who is a good actor i think that del toro or cameron should direct and seriously it needs to be rated R

This is what it think should happen and I know it has nothing to do with the books but what movie does.
A body is in the hospital covered in bandages with a chart hanging on it he bed that says john doe then it pans down to see the Symbiote dripping from the bandage as the heart monitor slows down. The Symbiote goes over to another bed with patient that is hooked to a brain monitor that show he is brain dead after the Symbiote gets on the man his eyes open. The nurse comes over to the man and says his name and the man says my name is Eddie because the Symbiote took eddies brain pattern with it and you can have a different actor and still be Eddie just idea I know it would need allot of work.

I am a Venom fan, but at this point I could not care less.

I think the best way for a venom movie rated R would be to make Venom established. Show him at the beginning at night in the rain on top of a building. Have some dialogue like "We spent most of our life hating one man, fighting him... We realized that he was trying to do the right thing, except we do it better."(We being eddie+venom as he talks in the comics) Then have him drop from the building on some muggers, show the fear in their eyes as Venom tears them limb from limb and hands the purse to the woman who is terrified from watching venom butcher the muggers. The movie would then follow Eddie with his darker acts of heroism across San Francisco as he is hunting for a serial killer Kletus Cassiday. Venom does not find him but the police do. Venom sneaks to Kletus's jail cell and explains he was planning on killing him for his actions but the police got to him first. As Venom leaves his symbiote leaves behind a symbiote spawn and Kletus becomes Carnage. Carnage then goes on a rampage throughout San Francisco and Venom comes to stop him. Venom asks who he is and Carnage responds "Don't you recognize me dad, I'm your son." The Carnage face peels back to show Kletus. The battle ensues with Carnage massacring lots of civilians. Venom finally beats him and realizes what the symbiote does to a person and Eddie tries to break free of the bond. He eventually does and the movie ends with Eddie walking off down the street then the camera pans down to a small black blob following him.

If it was pg13 it would be hard to incorperate Carnage. Maybe do a story with the company that creates the other 5 symbiotes.

1. no, include the origin [and maybe colonel jupiter?
2. no topher, that was bad casting, even for the spidey franchise.
3. why not raimi? SM3 sucked cause studio heads pushed venom, requiring a rushed rewrite.
4. no but set him up for a possible sequel, the way SM3 shouldve set up venom for SM4. [the church bell tower scene shouldve been the last scene of the movie]
5. little more violent than spiderman, with more adult themes, pushing it to MA. making it a gore fest will give it a cheap horror flick feel

I LOVE VENOM!!..hes my fav villian..and i think it would be great to c a movie of him

i also think spiderman should appear in this movie BEFORE carnage does!...u cant have a venom movie without including his hatred of spiderman...and tobey maguire should play spiderman in this
