Batman And Green Lantern Meet In First JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR Clip

Clip For Jay Oliva's upcoming animated feature Justice League: War, which features the first meeting of Batman (Jason O' Mara) and Green Lantern (Justin Kirk) as they take on one of Darkseid's Parademons.

By r3negade - Jan 06, 2014 08:01 AM EST

When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, Justice League: War features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory, Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Producer is James Tucker and director is Jay Oliva from a script by Heath Corson.

Not bad.

GL is good. I don't like Bats voice though. Sounds too forced. Still looking forward to this though.

Superman will make it or break it for me.

GL sounds good, but Batman is a bit too light-sounding for me.

Also, not sure if this clip was posted a while back, but the reason it may seem super familiar is because it's very reminiscent of JL #1 from a few years back. which i'm very happy about.

@Joe
@Anthony

Cheers for clearing that up, had a weird sense of Déjà vu.

The clip itself looks ok, Batman's voice does sound a bit off, but not distracting imo.

Yeah its safe to say that everyone is questioning the Batman voice (kinda unfair when you keep comparing to Kevin Conroy am I right? lol) anyway Im still in the middle on this one. Replacing Aquaman with Shazam and having Steve Blum voice Darkseid doesnt sit right

Batman's voice is a little off but the animation is solid so deftly picking this up for the collection.

Meh not feeling this batman, but GL is good I guess. It seems they're pulling directly from the first arc of the New 52 JL

Bats voice is off, but GL sounds right. This should be interesting. Wasn't a fan of the New-52 Justice League but hopefully they tweaked it a bit for the movie.
