I'd be down for a movie with her, War Machine, and Falcon as a team.

@MARVELPSYCHO79 Not necessarily...Marvel is relaunching practically all their titles with #1 issues. But I do agree that she'll likely be in the movie.

O' pine, NOMIS!
Those were the days when story and imagination came first.
Today, it's all marketing, positioning and rebranding.

Thank God the long hair is back. Probably safe to assume this will be close to her movie counterpart's look.

That said, this #1 re-issuing thing lost it's novelty a long time ago.

@Noomis@KrazyForKomix

Yep,I remember it well. But the real Captain Marvel only came into his own when Jim Starlin took over. As for Ms Marvel, she's Carol Danvers and she is not an officer.

Awesome art, sick of characters taking off into space. anyone would think marvel were making a movie about space or something....

If they do a Danvers captain marvel film before a Mar-vell film i'll cry

Beautiful artwork. And her hair looks so much better. She looks more feminine.

@SugarYumYum I don't mind them going with the Captain Marvel suit on the big screen, because she needs to be covered up to be taken seriously. Her Ms. Marvel suit wouldn't work unless her legs were covered up.

I want her to be called Ms. Marvel in the MCU though.

I'll definitely be picking this up. I'm a big fan of Ms Marvel taking up the mantle as Captain Marvel and so far from what i've seen it looks spectacular.

I'd be okay if Carol Danver's got her own solo film and started out as Captain Marvel in the MCU along side The Avengers.

@Parkerluckpersonified lol mar-vell would never get his own film, come on get real

@Shamo i think they decided (after many difficulties with it, since every freaking person that drew her for a comic ended up doing her hair differently) to go with the route where the cool thing was just her hairdo not actually short hair. a lot of her versions were like that. her hair went up and cool when she had her helmet on and when she didn't it was down and nice.

anyway, i can't wait for this, even if i actually have to wait like years until there's a download or whatever since these don't get here where i live and i can't buy online u.u

I love the new costume. Looks much better and is far more pratical then the leotard-knee high boots combo from her last costume.

@carol, good point. What his name (Dexter Soy?) seemed to be the only artist competent enough to draw her hair the way it should of been. I saw a lot of other artists fukc it up completely.

caroldanvers - 2/14/2014, 9:52 PM
@mgeoff88 i don't have a credit card and neither does anyone in my family, so i'm basically screwed :(

@Shamo dexter soy, yes! i think there were a few good ones, i remember liking the artist that drew her in one of the avengers comics, i'll try find it and post a picture. the carol corps (along with kelly sue later on) decided after joking so much about her hair and how much it changed depending on the artist that carol just had the ability to change her hair however she wanted along with her superpowers and she just got bored and tried new things all the time lol

@caroldanvers Oh, sorry to hear that. Are you sure there is no comic book stores near you?

If you do an extensive enough search online, maybe you could find a comic book store close to you?

I knew Rhodey was going to be her love interest when she mentioned a "shirtless Warmachine" in her last run.

But seriously though F**K OFF with that Iron Patriot nonsense leave that in the movies.

I like Rhodey as the Iron Patriot. He earned the suit when he stopped that fleet of robots.

caroldanvers - 2/15/2014, 12:39 PM
@mgeoff88 oh no, there are, there's a lot of them, but they don't get "new" things that often, and let alone in english, which i'd rather read in than read it in spanish even if it's my first language. i remember trying to get the batwoman issues last year and having to wait MONTHS for issues that were already online and downloadable because they came out a while ago. the only things they ship in fast are like, general avengers comics, probably spidey and batman and more "known" heroes, but other than that you're either stuck waiting and hoping they can get something for months or you have to wait for a download online.

add to that the fact that my country (argentina) has recently added some bullshit law about online buying and importations that makes you pay a shitload of the actual price of whatever you buy and stops things at the customs for months too, it's basically impossible at this point. i have cosplayer friends that buy wigs online and bought them in december and they STILL haven't gotten them because they're stuck somewhere in the shipping system, they don't even know *if* they're going to get them at all and if they do they're probably going to have to pay twice the price that they originally were going to pay, all thanks to this stupid law -__-

mgeoff88 - 2/15/2014, 2:37 PM
@caroldanvers Oh wow, you're from Argentina? That's very cool. And your English is great btw. You write better than some of the people whose first language is English. Huh, that sucks it's not easier to get the comics you want. I could see why your only way of reading the comics you want is downloading them.

They made that law to prevent drugs from being imported from other countries to South America. It sounds like they're going way overboard when they are examining packages of wigs though. Drug dealers will ship packages filled with coffee grounds to conceal the scent of narcotics from drug sniffing dogs. You gotta figure if there is no coffee grounds present that the package is not filled with drugs. Hopefully they will change around that new law, so it's easier for innocent people like you and your friends who are just buying supplies or comics. Things that aren't illegal.
