The epic graphic novel by Frank Miller (Sin City) assaults the screen with the blood, thunder and awe of its ferocious visual style faithfully recreated in an intense blend of live-action and CGI animation. I distinctly remember the Spartans proudly displaying their well-proportioned twig an' berry setups in the graphic novel- WHERE WAS THAT IN THE MOVIE??

Still the most testosterone driven film of all time and I love it!! It's just the manliest movie ever!! LOL And Sin City ends up right behind it, cause not only is that manly but it's got hotties and THEY are badass!!! Frank miller in the day was on fire!!!

They made a lot of mistakes in this video as well!

For example^ Why Leonidas will doesn't kill Xerxes , no body protecting him!

- Well if you watch the scene carefully, you would notice that there are Archers ready to shot! -and this is not the only one!

300 is still awesome and oily gay but less than Top Gun!

I can't believe they didn't make up the score for the ridiculous fetish gear they're wearing into battle. I'm really surprised they didn't add the sin count for all the laughable historical inaccuracies or for the fact that Spartans didn't believe in Hell.

Everyone who is defending Zack Snyder needs to keep this piece of shit movie in mind.

How many great films did Favreau or Whedon have before doing Marvel Magic.

I can see why DC like Snyder but I think he really needs help with his character work and the smaller less epic moments. I honestly didn't want him after Sucker Punch, I felt he only knew how to direct stuff when enslaved to someone else's vision. MOS changed my mind but he needs to grow still.


As for 300, it was excellent the only 'Sin' was the fat dude with blades for hands.

Hey, Slappy....it was based off a comic book...in which the comic book was based off the LEGEND of the 300 Spartans. We don't know why people bitch about the "historical innacuracies" of a CBM. All 300 did was retell a Legendary battle with bad ass effects and battles. This film was never meant to be taken seriously and is just for entertainment purposes. Zack Snyder is celebrated because he made the movie entertaining and kept to the source material of the COMIC BOOK! So...if you actually thought this movie was supposed to be some type of documentary about the actual 300 Spartans.....that's your damn fault, buddy.

I don't think that's a mistake. I think they meant guards between him and Leonidas.

There may have been Archers but they weren't right there and he could have easily killed Xerses before they even got to him. I mean...Xerses even gives him a personal backrub. How hard would it be to thrust a dagger in him before an arrow was even drawn?

The only argument at that point would be that Leonidas didn't kill Xerxes when he had the chance, when he was right next to him with no guards in the immediate vicinity, because...he was afraid he'd get killed.

That would contradict his entire dogma, though.

I mean, if he could die killing the leader of the Persians, he'd not only be a hero...he'd be a martyr that would make all of Sparta go to war.

Oh....and Why Leonidas didn't kill Xerxes? He sacrificed himself because he knew if he was killed in battle...all of Sparta would rise against Xerxes and his army. Therefore...he purposely made himself a martyr. Actually....in hisotry itself...they discovered that Leonidas was in his 50s or 60s when he went up against Xerxes. He knew he was going to die from the beginning and knew the only way he could Sparta to fight was to be killed in battle...therefore Sparta would rise an seek revenge.

for iron man it was less expectations.
after the "marvel magic" they proved and made this movie called Iron Man and The Avengers, (yes IM2 was shit but we all know why, introduced MCU)
Snyder made this movie called Man Of Steel, which is not that great movie critically and general audiences approved that. (yes this DC fansite says its the best CBM of the year, surprised?)
look how SvB has been going, snyder will be good for DC/WB if he was PART of a group of directors not the head of DC/WB. Look what happen to Goyer.
