Anne Hathaway's latest film, Rio 2 will be hitting theaters soon, and MTV got a hold of her for an interview. It seems that the actress would be open to the idea of reprising her role as Catwoman from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises or even doing a solo film for the character. "I would love it if that happened, no one's talked to me about it and I think that its probably not going to happen, but that would be pretty cool." So, are you up for Hathaway reprising the role? Leave your answers in the usual place!
The Dark Knight Rises is a superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the story with David S. Goyer. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film will be the third installment in Nolan's Batman film series, and is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). The Dark Knight Rises is intended to be the conclusion of the series. It stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman. The film will take place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight and will introduce the characters of Selina Kyle and Bane—portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy, two villains from the Batman mythology.

Well if the recent rumours turn out to be true of Snyder's BvS universe following on, sort of, from Nolan's universe....you never know!

Needs another paycheque?

I think the studios have moved on from the strictly-realism school of Nolan.
Personal preference would be just to move-on and cast a new actress.... not that she was that bad in TDKR, just under-used and not particularly 'sexy-cat' as depicted in the Arkham series of videogames which is the driving force behind keeping interest going in all things Batman lately.
I'm after a more fantastical fantasy world of Batman post-Nolan - so we can have villians like Killer Croc and not having to worry about Nolan trying to translate him as a roided-up psoriasis sufferer or whatever.

If it happens i'd be down with it...however lose the whole realistic, tactical look.....Hathaway's look in her screen test was near spot on!

A solo film directed by J. Nolan would be amazing.

When in Rome's a pretty good story. My favourite Catwoman stuff is Brubaker's, though.

Pretty sure she meant "Yes....If Nolan returns to direct". Bale would say the same thing.

I would love it. She was an awesome Selina Kyle.

Now, on to more serious business...

An article dedicated to Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, and no booty pics? WTF? I miss Bravado...

HELL YEAH,
DC needs a hottie who can kick ass, i mean TRUELY HOTTIE who can kick ass, not fake as WW or a reported who she is hot.
but, i still dont want Nolan-Universe to share with mediocre man of steel, unless nolan or other director takes over.
i still called it B.S

No thanks the Catwoman from the comics still has not been shown on screen yet. So I want to see someone else play Catwoman. I personally don't want to see Catwoman on screen any time soon. There is a lot of better Batman characters I want to see on screen instead of seeing her again. Plus there is no need for a Catwoman movie. Everyone remembers how the last one turned out and it was bad we don't need that to happen again. Plus I would prefer to see a movie like Plastic-Man, Hawkman, Captain Marvel, Adam Strange, Icon & Atom. I don't think those movies are ones WB wants to make. So I really hope Catwoman doesn't get another solo film before they do.

She had mixed reviews as Catwoman? Really? Everyone I hear from says she was great and I thought she was an awesome addition to the Nolan series. Better than Pfeiffer's "Catwoman"... ugh. I doubt she'll be coming back though, the Nolan series has ended and it's time for new blood.

For me, she was probably the only decent new thing about TDKR. It'd be great to have her as Catwoman again, but if WB are trying to keep the DCCU as separate from the Nolan films as possible, it's not going to happen.

Maybe she could end up playing a different DC role though? It'd be extraordinary, but possible.

Nolan's bat series is over. If this new Batman is gonna be a reboot, there's no point in having her come back.

Aww poor Anne.
New Batman universe means new Catwoman.
I liked her surprisingly and I'm not afraid to admit I was a Anne Hathaway Catwoman skeptic.
My only problem was that she was trying way to hard to give a "sultry deep" voice.

But in the new universe I'd love Eva Green as Selina Kyle.
She just exudes the sexuality, confidence and bad-ass qualities that make Catwoman.

I'm down. She was awesome, and she was the most accurate take on the character.
