Keanu Reeves Would Have Liked To Played BATMAN or WOLVERINE

Though the Matrix and 47 Ronin actor previously played a certain Hellblazer, Keanu Reeves has discussed taking on another superhero role in a cinematic property, citing Wolverine and 'The Dark Knight' as the two dream characters. Hit the jump for more.

Promoting his new film John Wick, actor Keanu Reeves spoke about the possibility of playing a superhero, and since there has never been a better time for comic book movies, I'm sure there are plenty of roles to go around. Though he previously starred as John Constantine in the 2005 movie, which received a mixed reaction, he feels he missed out on two specific examples. "I always wanted to play Wolverine," he told Moviefone, "But I didn't get that. And they have a great Wolverine now. I always wanted to play The Dark Knight. But I didn't get that one. They've had some great Batmans. So now I'm just enjoying them as an audience." It certainly would've been interesting to see the actor take on those roles! What do you think of his comments?

I think he would make a great Batman! If not, at least a great Bruce Wayne!

I want to see him in a villain role. Maybe Baron Mordo!

Also, he could play a new Cyclops.

Just saw John Wick....... such a badass movie
Keanu acting is bland like always but the action will not disappoint

I will say this if Keanu was Batman, he would have played him for sure as a martial artist. I'm still not sure that Ben will play Batman that way or not. I will say this John Wick looks good. Keanu could be an interesting Jason Blood or Ted Kord too.

I liked his Constantine, just wish he'd been british.

Also I didn't care for his redemption at the end, I'd have preferred him tricking Loo instead of being redeemed.

Other than that, the movie was fun.

Oh and [frick] Shia LeDouche. (tho it was fun watching him die)
