At the moment, we can only speculate who will helm Marvel and Sony's upcoming Spider-Man film, but the strongest report so far indicates that Drew Goddard will write and direct the reboot. An interesting new tweet from Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight, who took over the position after Goddard departed the show, has added further fuel to that rumour.
Now, this could be DeKnight toying with us, going along with the reports... or he might have just confirmed that Goddard will take charge of the 2017 film (rumoured to be titled Spectacular Spider-Man). In either case, we can still can only theorise, so don't take this as confirmation just yet, but, still... what do you make of it?
