Release Date For JUSTICE LEAGUE: GODS & MONSTERS CHRONICLES Revealed

To co-incide with the release of DC Entertainment's new animated movie, Justice League: Gods and Monsters, Machinima are working on a three-part series, Chronicles, that will flesh out these new takes on the characters and universe. We knew that the film will land on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 28th, 2015, and now we also have a release date for the webseries: June 8th, 2015. The series is the first collaboration between Warner Bros. and Machinima, and demonstrates the changing face of digital entertainment. Will you be checking out Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles when it lands online?

Journey to a divergent reality where the Justice League protects the planet — but answers to no one but themselves. Employing methods of intimidation and fear, this Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman deal brute force in the name of justice. In this alternate universe, Superman was not raised by the Kents in Smallville, the Caped Crusader is not Bruce Wayne, and Wonder Woman is not an Amazon warrior of Themyscira. When a group of famed scientists experience untimely “accidents,” a government task force follows the trail of clues to the Justice League -- but is there a more powerful player operating from the shadows? It’s a high stakes game of intrigue, mystery and action that asks the question: How do you serve justice to those above the law? Justice League: Gods & Monsters will be available July 28 on Blu-Ray Deluxe Edition, Blu-Ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD.

Seeing this on the big screen and copping a feel on Natalie Dormer after "bumping into her"...these are things I'll be doing at Comic-Con.

So does this Web-series cover the same stuff the tie-in comics do? They're the origin stories of the characters and the team.

Also does the series second season take place AFTER the film?

@Ded,
That I'd like to know, and also, how did Gusto not get beaten by that 12 year old!
