I'm loving the talent they have on the variant covers. My fingers are crossed that they put this much effort into the series, like the press releases currently have me believing. With Brian Azzarello's help, this could be a comeback for the modern Frank "completely insane" Miller.

"Only batman is allowed to ride an eagle and the eagle knows not to throw him off"

Thats because Chuck Norris told it not to.

Holy sh*t-- what the hell happened to Frank Miller?!? The guy looks like a mummy! Has he been smoking cigars and hammering down moonshine for the past decade or two?!

... Actually, the moonshine thing would explain an awful lot about his recent work.

"Only batman is allowed to ride an eagle and the eagle knows not to throw him off".

Actually, that's a statue. Bats was climbing on a building, trying to stop Two-Face from detonating a bomb. But yeah, if it was a real eagle, your statement would still ring true.
