Background: Miguel Santos was born the son of Carlos Santos, a member of the Legion of the Living Lightning, a group dedicated to usurping the U.S. government. After the group fell into ruins following a botched plan to manipulate the Hulk, Santos decided to redeem his father’s name.

Santos was accidentally transformed into a being of living energy upon touching a machine in the Legion’s headquarters. This newfound power allowed him to turn his body into lightning-like energy and expel it offensively.

Due to a misunderstanding, he clashed with the Avengers West Coast and was seemingly killed in the process. Santos reappeared and teamed up with the team, battling villains like Arkon and the Magus (Fantastic Four #368, 1992). Though he continued to fight alongside the team for a while, Santos eventually left to pursue his studies.

After being asked to join the ranks of the Great Lakes Avengers, Santos accidentally revealed his homosexuality to the team’s leader, Flatman (GLA #2, 2005).

In recent years, Santos has gone on to fight in both the superhero Civil War as well as during the Secret Invasion. He currently works as private security for members of the Avengers Academy.

Good job.

It's unfortunate that someone created another good character and the following writers didn't know what to do with him.

Per usual, I look forward to your next Avenger.
