I just have to ask, maybe there is a legitimate reason, what do you like about this movie?
I'm being insulting here, or condescending,it's just that I'm a fairly balanced guy and I just don't get this movie at all. I'm not one of the fans screaming about the outfits or really bothered about snakeye's mask( but I do think it's a poor choice) as a fan of movies I just don't see the appeal.

That guy on the right of Baroness looks like one of the characters from the "Army of Two" video game.

I heard The Doctor makes Cobra Commander and doesn't become him.

Chirs pine would not have been a better choice AnilRicky cusz he is not the badass type that Channing could be but is still not... plus Chris Pine looks a little too Down Syndrome for me... that was mean huh, sorry. Plus can anyone explain why Sankeyes is wearing velvet gloves!

I know i'm going to sound like the perv in this room but that highlight on Millers bum makes it look like she's cuppin' a tennis racquet instead of a cheek. Whoever photoshopped that poster could've spent time in other areas.

i don't understand how people can get pissed at a movie they have never even seen just because a character may have some facial features.

My apparent smart-assness comes from reading the script, but by now I'd imagine that there are ample spoilers on the internet to corroborate my story.

A few excerpts from IMDB's ROC trivia page:

"Cobra Commander's design pays homage to other sinister leaders: - his film history was inspired by the OO7 villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld; - his appearance was based on the Marvel Comics supervillain Dr Doom; - his armour/life-system pays homage to Star Wars (1977)'s Darth Vader; - he is accompanied by a snake, similar to J.K. Rowling's Lord Voldemort; - and his burnt face is a tribute to Harvey Dent."

"Cobra Commander's history has varied over the years. In the comics he was a salesman who succumbed to megalomania; in "G.I. Joe" (1985) he was a member of a secret society; and in the film he was Duke and Ripcord's comrade-in-arms named Rex (Latin for "king", foreshadowing his position as a leader), who was critically wounded and left behind in a chemical attack, and gained special abilities and a desire to "re-order" the world."

The wording of this last one is ambiguous, I know. allow me to clarify:

O'connor plays a scientist that Rex (JGL) meets during a flashback scene. This scientist gives Rex the nanotechnology the he in turn uses to turn himself into first "The Doctor" and ultimately Cobra Commander.

If you wish I can post script excerpts. (excerpts from the leaked script, that is.) Some elements have been slightly altered in the final film version, as there are a few inconsistencies I've seen between the clips shown on MTV and the leaked script. However, knowing the integral role that rex/the doctor plays, I seriously doubt any alterations were made to that plot line.

I still haven't seen anyone defend this movie adequately. I really do want to know why some people think this is going to be an awesome movie. I mean I understood why some people had high expectations for wolverine, the trailers had some scenes that really hinted at the rich storyline of wolverine's past. It made it look like the movie might be good despite some of the photos that came out which hinted at some major deviations from the source material. Here I see nothing that would grant that belief, the trailers seem really juvenile and the cg looks sub-par. I don't know, I'm a rational human being and I don't normally rip things apart, I'm usually wildly positive about things...this just looks like pluto nash to me.

Gi Joe... so far looks to be... extremely bad, not mentioning the horrible rumors surrounding it as first showing reported a few days ago
