Seems like the license has expired for Activision, and all of their Marvel based games have been removed from Steam, Xbox Live, and PSN.
It's being reported that the Marvel based Activision titles that have been removed are Deadpool, X-Men: The Official Game, X-Men: Destiny, X-Men: Origins - Wolverine, and Spider-Man titles such as Edge of time, Shatter Dimensions, Friend or Foe, and Web of Shadows.
The movie tie-in video game of The Amazing Spider-Man is still available, and Dan Amrich, community manager at Activision, has confirmed that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie tie-in video is still on track to release alongside the film this spring.
So what do you guys and gals think? Is Disney trying to get all the video game properties under one roof to make a shared video game universe? Let me know in the comments below!
