'FANTASTIC FOUR' Screenwriter Gives Thoughts And Praise Towards Film

Although posted a few days ago, screenwriter Jeremy Slater gives his thoughts on Fant4stic and the comics. Hit the jump!

Relatively unknown screenwriter Jeremy Slater (The Lazarus Effect) has shared his thoughts on the Fantastic Four film and his unapologetic love for these characters in a series of tweets sent out a day before the films release. Check them out below!

It seems as though Slater is the one who had a hand in crafting the first act of the film which is being noted as a highlight of the film (perferably my favorite part of the film then it becomes a jumbled incoherent mess with no connective tissue from the "second act" to the third).

What do you think? Sound off below!

Well, he did write the Lazarus effect which was apparently terrible, so it isn't like he could've done much even if he was given most control, same goes for Trank, I feel as though almost anyone could have directed that movie, even Uwe Boll could have done the movie, anything appealing about the film comes from the premise and the script.

No, just getting more and more annoyed that anyone who doesn't despise the new FF is being declared insane by the CBM community.

Yeah this would be the wise way to go about saying you only liked the 1st part of the movie and had nothing to do with the rest.

I hated the movie, but I'm not gonna try to discredit this guy's opinion just because he had a good time with it.

And yeah, the first act was by far the most enjoyable part of it.

Too bad there wasn't a second act to follow that up with -__-

The guy doesn't want to get blackballed like Trank. So he's staying positive and providing good PR for the movie which is still in the theater.

Fantastic Four and praise are words that shouldn't be used together

Whoever the [frick] said that is world class idiot!!!

*clears throat*

Fantastic Four deserves no praise, in my honest opinion.

Say that first sentences with a stereotypical Russian accent and the typo seems intentional.

I can't really say anything negative about this. If he was the one responsible for writing most of the first act then great, at least someone had their head on right!
