Only a few more days remain for production on Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2, and director James Gunn has taken to Twitter to share a final piece of storyboard art with fans. The image is simple, but appears to illustrate the sillhouettes of Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Baby Groot, with Rocket shining what's dubbed a "pen light" at the camera. "It's been a lot of hard work, honestly," he said of the sequel in a recent Q&A at the Atlanta Film Festival. "It's a much bigger film. Also at the same time, a much more intimate film, more character-driven in certain ways, so it's just a lot of work. And everybody has been on their game. The new cast members... Kurt Russell has been incredible. And Pom Klementieff, who plays a new Guardian [Mantis] has been just, she blows me away," Gunn said. "She's really been perfect."

Marvel Studios are known for being very "hands-on" with their approach to filmmaking, and there have been instances in the past where directors haven't always seen eye-to-eye with the overall vision of the studio. According to Gunn, however, his ideas and story have never been issues, though he does have to run them by Marvel first.  In a recent Facebook Q&A, Gunn said, "The story and end credit scenes are all mine. Marvel okays everything of course, but the ideas are from me. I've never been given some plot point I have to fit into the movie." One such post-credit sequence was the hilarious inclusion of Howard the Duck at the end of the first film. There haven't been many clues as to what we'll see in the sequel, but with Gunn's sense of humour, it's sure to be memorable. Are you looking forward to Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2? There's no movie I've watched more often on the big screen than GOTG. So yeah, I'm kind of vaguely interested in the sequel.

Go Guardians! Go Gunn! <3

Gunn took a bunch of characters that I greatly dislike and produced a phenomenal film with them. Now here I am, greatly anticipating the sequel. It'll be hard to top the original, but I'm sure Gunn will do it.

Really happy how seamless the relationship between Gunn and Marvel seems.

Jollem's not here. Might as will take his place.

"Ugggggggggggggh. You whiners can't handle more mature movies. You perfer movies with jokes and dancing. CBMs shouldn't have jokes and dancing. Zack Snyder is the only REAL CBM director, because he makes films for adults, you [frick]ing simpletons"

Did I do it right?
