The Tracking Board reports that Claudia Kim (Dr. Helen Cho in Avengers: Age Of Ultron) has landed a role in the big-screen adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower.

According to them she'll play a character named Arra Champignon, who actually appeared in two of the Marvel tie-in comics: "Treachery", and "The Sorcerer". Arra came to a very nasty end along with her husband, but it's possible her relatively minor role will be expanded for the film of course.

Here's how this take on the character is described:

"known to be 'kind' and who 'wishes everyone well.' She possesses psychic abilities and seems to come from another world – perhaps another time all together."

Kim joins the likes of Idris Elba as Roland Deschain, Matthew McConaughey as The Man In Black, Tom Taylor as Jake Chambers, and Katheryn Winnick in an unspecified role.

The Dark Tower is set to hit theaters on Feb. 17, 2017.

Her character in AOU was just used as a plot device. Waste of a character.

@TheArkhamKnight - Did you expect Dr. Helen Cho to be an important character in the movie? I wouldn't call it waste of character if her role in the movie is as big as it could get.

@Urubrodi - I thought her character was important in the comics if I'm remembering correctly?

@TheArkhamKnight - It is not like she was useless in the movie. I am just saying that in a movie with so many characters with much more relevance, I would not expect Dr. Helen Cho to steal the spotlight.

@TheArkhamKnight - Plus given that she was pivotal in Vision's creation that should count for something.
