'Slimer' And The New Specter-Hunting Team Feature On Empire Magazine's GHOSTBUSTERS Covers
The movie mag has released its newsstand and subscriber covers for June, and they give us new looks at Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Slimer from Paul Feig's Ghostbusters.
This month's edition of Empire magazine is all about Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot, and we have 2 covers (standard and subscribers) for you to check out below.
One features the new team (Erin, Jillian, Abby and Patty), and the other gives us a new look at the fan-favourite ghost from the original movie who was given a much larger role in the animated series, Slimer.
Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15.
