Director Paul Feig has drawn attention to this international poster for his upcoming Ghostbusters reboot on Twitter, and it's arguably the best we've seen yet.

This movie is its own thing and won't be set in the same continuity as the first two - but there are still plenty of callbacks, including cameos from the original cast members, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and of course Slimer, who can be seen here alongside the new team (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth).

Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.

Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15.

It's not enough like the original. They forgot to leave the goofy black person with no skills out of the poster.

Kill this turd, now!

I am trying to give this movie some kind of benefit of the doubt and I have decided that I will see the movie, but I will make loud noises and close my eyes whenever Leslie Jones is on screen because she is one frightening looking woman, and she has 0 acting ability.

@RorMachine - It's gonna be interesting to see how this gets reviewed. Fan and audience reception will be terrible, no doubt about it. But it'll be interesting to see how many critics will be truly objective, and what others will let bias creep in for whatever reasons...I anticipate a lot of critics giving it a borderline pass out of fear of being labelled sexists.

Here's a clue that the movie might not do so well - Chris Hemsworth not starring as Thor's in it.
