UPDATE: New Poster For Cartoon Network's JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION Features The Trinity Standing Tall

Ahead of their SDCC panel, Cartoon Network has released some new artwork for their latest animated series, Justice League Action. Do you notice anything different about the characters this time?...

UPDATE: Turns out this is actually unofficial artwork.

The first poster for Cartoon Network's Justice League Action featured Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman alongside Firestorm, Green Arrow, Plastic Man, and ... Space Cabbie. That lineup, along with the style of artwork, suggested that the show would be aimed more towards younger viewers.

Now, a new promo pic for the show has been released, and the general consensus seems to be that this depiction of The Trinity has been tweaked slightly to appeal to an older demographic. I'm not sure I see it myself - it may just be the different angle and muted colors - but let us know what you think in the usual place.

"Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge."

Justice League Action will premiere at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday July 21, 12:00-1:00pm, in room 25abc.

@FlyntCoal - Batman and Wonder Woman looks great.

I do not like that the eyes of Superman have no color. It unnerves me somehow

Actually doesn't look too bad. Superman looks fantastic. The bat symbol looks a bit wonky and spikey-haired Wonder Woman will take a few looks to get used to, but other than that this is pretty good.
