We've had a look at their awesome cover, and now SFX has released some new images from Marvel and Netflix's upcoming Luke Cage series.

The first sees a pensive Power Man (Mike Colter) surveying what looks to be the wreckage of someone's home. Could this have been retaliation for some of the heroics we witnessed in the trailer? The other pic finds Cage in action mode. We don't know exactly what he plans to do with that manhole cover, but it can't be good news for the bad guys.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Luke Cage punches onto Netflix on September 30th.

You just know this series is going to be [frick]ing epic!

It better be more Daredevil and less Jessica Jones in terms of quality.
