If you're worried that Luke Cage might not live up to Daredevil and Jessica Jones, don't be - the first round of reviews for the first seven hours of Marvel and Netflix's latest are overwhelmingly positive.

Collider awards the show 5 stars, singling star Mike Colter out for the most praise, while ComicsBeat hails LC as "Marvel's best television effort yet". 411Mania and Den of Geek are also huge fans - though the latter does take issue with certain elements.

More reviews are sure to hit soon, so we'll update ASAP. In the meantime, check out a new clip featuring Cage teaching some disrespectful hoods some manners.


After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

they are doing magical work over at netflix. i like the MCU movies but sometimes i wish they could take note from whats going down on the Netflix shows
