As well as revealing the somewhat expected plot element of the city hating and fearing Spider-Man because they think he's a bad guy more or less.

Sweetre15: I'm happy to have confirmation from one of the actors that Lizard is indeed the villain because all the rumors and speculating got a bit annoying and I'm glad Sony wouldn't do something as suicidal as making it about Green Goblin again
