Fan cast for "The Green Lantern" set in the same canon as "The Justice League".

Above is a video showing cast comparisons to the characters they would play. The Justice League movie will supposedly be its own franchise, making it unrelated to the new 2011 movie with Ryan Reynolds. With that in mind, I went out of my way to recast it with my own ideas on how it would fit, and here is why I would cast the actors.

* David Boreanaz as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern: Boreanaz has proven that he can play both straightman and also provide comic releif. He has a distinct look that fits Hal Jordan better then other actors, and I looked at roughly 30 actors to cast. David Boreanaz would fit in greatly with the likes of Armie Hammer and Michael Fassbender (Supes and Bats).

* Kate Beckinsale as Carol Ferris: To have some big names, I found the opportunity to have Kate Beckinsale in it as Carol Ferris. We all know Kate is a good actress, and as Carol she could act out all the essential parts of the character. Down the road, she could be a good Star Sapphire.

* Viggo Mortnensen as Sinestro: Viggo Mortensen is an impressive actor with rich acting credits that supports his acting ability. He can sport Sinestro's infamous stache and play the sinester side as well as the nicer side that he has at first. David Boreanaz and Viggo Mortensen would probably have awesome chemistry too.

* Billy Zane as Baron Tyrano: I wanted to introduce a relatively small villain from the comics into this film as modifications to fit the film would be more appropriate. Baron Tyrano would make a cool Earth-bound villain for Hal to face off with. Billy Zane could work wonders with this role as well.

* Jason Scott Lee as Thomas Kalmaku: Lee resembles Thomas. He can act. Most of all, he is badass and I could see him being friends with Boreanaz.

* Bruce Greenwood as Carl Ferris: Bruce is a fine actor that could make a very cool Carl Ferris. Greenwood has "Star Trek" under his belt which audiences could probably realise watching him. Later on, Carl would have a bigger role and Greenwood is a deserving actor to play an integral role.

* Ving Rhames as Kilowog: Voice work would obviously be used here. Rhames' voice is perfect for Kilowog. He almost would have been better then Michael Clarke Duncan.

* Hugh Grant as Tomar-Re: Voice work again. Grant has a voice that just fits with the character of Tomar-Re. Smart sounding and intellectual, it just seems perfect.

* Derek Luke as John Stewart/Green Lantern: I had John Stewart as the Green Lantern in my Justice League with Luke in the role, so it makes sense to include him in this movie. To explain Hal's absence in the JL fan cast I did I would just have something explained in this movie like Hal was not available so John got the spot. Thats that.

* Chiwetel Ejiofor as Abin Sur: Abin Sur is an important character to the mythos, and I felt just a small actor would not be fair. Chiwetel has left lasting impressions on people in his movies and I know as Abin Sur he would do the same. He is a developed actor, and later he could reprise it in flashback sequences if needed.

Also, I need help with my Wonder Woman fan cast coming in July. Bridget Regan or Cobie Smulders? Who should be cast.

Apart from Viggo Mortensen thats more like a tv show cast (admittedly as some are tv actors and some are tv quality actors) no offence tv thought. with stuff like the wire, treme and boardwalk empire being better than most movies.
