Zatanna May Charm the Big Screen

DC's sexy backward talking spellcaster may bewitch moviegoers.

Screenwriter Hadley Davis (Scrubs, Dawson's Creek, The Ice Princess) says he's adapting DC's Zatanna for movie screens.

The heroine would be updated for a teen audience, he told Sci Fi Wire. "It's sort of an obscure DC Comic book," Davis said. "Well, I say that, and then people who know comic books know the comic. It has existed for years and years, but she is a female magician. It's for Warner Brothers

and [producer] Denise DiNovi, and we've made her sort of a teen magician."

Comic book movie fans will remember DiNovi was producer on Halle Berry's ill-fated Catwoman.

This is completely unsubstantiated but I hear that Megan Fox & Brain Austin Green are talking about developing that, along with the Aspen Fathom project.
