Warner Bros. Likes Women! So do I!

After allegations that they were backing away from having female leads in future movies, Warner Bros. have come out swinging on Variety to make sure that everyone knows they like their women. How does this concern us? May I direct your attention to the star-spangled-leotard of our favorite Amazon?

The variety report focuses primarily on the failed roles of Jodie Foster in The Brave One, The Reaping with Hilary Swank and the remake The Invasion starring Nicole Kidman. However a bit down the page there is a paragraph worthy of our notice.

Female superheroes are prominent in two upcoming Warners comicbook actioners. Wonder Woman joins the male ensemble in DC's The Justice League and Silk Spectre leads Alan Moore's Watchmen. Female co-stars figure in both Speed Racer and Get Smart. And Robinov is still seeking the right script and star for a Wonder Woman feature, which has been in development for a decade.

Robinov is the Warner Bros. Studio Executive, and the article allows for a ray of hope for all of us hoping that there will be a Wonder Woman movie sometime… eventually!
