Comic Book Resources have got some great new photos up (hit the source link below) for the animated feature, expected to be released early next year. You take one look at them, and you know that the movie is going to be good.
But, sadly, it’s worse for the live action feature than just well drawn cartoons. The voices behind those cartoons are possibly the greatest cast I’ve ever seen!
Probably the biggest name on the list (it’s all relative) is David Boreanaz, from Buffy, Angel and Bones fame, portraying – perfectly, might I add – Hal Jordan, aka, The Green Lantern.
Neil Patrick Harris, famous for his roles in the Harold & Kumar movies, and the funny How I Met Your Mother TV series, is backing Wally West, the Flash.
Jeremy Sisto of Law & Order and Kidnapped fame backs up Bruce Wayne, and Kyle MacLachlan, from Twin Peaks, Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives voices the Kryptonian, Superman.
Lucy Lawless, who everyone will remember from Xena plays a similarly strong female character, voicing Wonder Woman, with the inimitable Miguel Ferrer from Crossing Jordan and Bionic Woman playing the man behind the world’s other alien, the Martian Manhunter.
It’s a star studded cast, for a story that bridged the Golden and Silver age of comics, and brought together the Justice League in a coherent storyline. This is one to watch for on Amazon, and I can tell you, I can’t wait for this!
The only problem is, that this movie – in the eyes of the fans – may dwarf any attempts WB make towards a live action flick.
