Jessica Alba on Fantastic Four 3 and Dark Angel Movie

Everyone’s favorite woman – Jessica Alba – has given those of us Dark Angel fans with a hint of things to come. It has been six years since the show ended prematurely, but maybe there is more to come. Also, Fantastic Four 3?

She is probably the sexiest woman alive, and proves it so in poll after poll after poll. Even if you’re a nice guy like me, you have to admit that she’s smokin’. But to give her props, she can really act too, in movies far above the “smokin’ hot lead actress” style that seems to be the style these days. So when IESB's Silas Lesick got to ask a few questions of our favorite superhero wife/mother/invisible-girl, everyone was stoked to read the answers.

But to give her props, she can really act too, in movies far above the “smokin’ hot lead actress” style that seems to be the style these days. So when IESB's Silas Lesick got to ask a few questions of our favorite superhero wife/mother/invisible-girl, everyone was stoked to read the answers.

IESB: How long until we get Fantastic Four 3?

Jessica Alba: I have no idea. I know the writers strike and the impending actors strike has kind of put a wrench in everything production wise. That film takes a lot of prep, a good six months of prep and about six months to shoot. With the strike, I think, maybe it's put on hold.

IESB: Any thought into making Dark Angel into a film?

Jessica Alba: We've talked about it, I want to work with Jim so I would pretty much do anything he wants to do.

IESB: In the Fantastic Four comics your character becomes a mother. Would you like to see that in the film?

Jessica Alba: Little Franklin? Yeah, I think that would be hilarious. He's so powerful, I think that would be a really interesting dynamic a mother-child dynamic. She's still a superhero but she's super-protective and he's wild, he can do anything and has no sense of what's appropriate, that would be really fun.

Now not only is it possible that we’ll be getting a Dark Angel movie in the next few years – and I am well aware that that is not likely to happen for some years – it turns out Jessica just might know what she’s talking about when it comes to the comics.

I am not the world’s biggest aficionado on the Fantastic Four, but I know about little Franklin and his powers. Call me a nerd, I’m well rounded. But to hear that Jessica seems to have a grasp on that same information that – in all reality – is oh so very geeky; well, that’s a nerd’s fantasy come true!
