BLACK HOLE To Be Directed by David Fincher

Charles Burns’ 12-issue comic book series Black Hole will adapted to the big screen with David Fincher taking the helm.

According to Variety, David Fincher (Zodiac) will direct Black Hole for Paramount Pictures and MTV Films.

Black Hole, by Charles BUrns was compiled into a graphic novel in 2005 after a 12 issue run that took him a decade to complete. The story follows "the bug" which is a sexually transmitted disease plaguing teens causing hallucinations and deformities.

Previously Alexandre Aja (Hills Have Eyes) was attached to direct. The screenplay is to be adapted by Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman.
