Iron Man 2 Coming Really Soon

Iron Man has only just premiered across the planet, and already we’re speaking of a sequel. Granted, we’ve been speaking of a sequel for a few weeks now, but now it seems as though we’ve got a bit of hard information. And, it looks as if we’ll be seeing a sequel a lot sooner than we’d expected.

IESB, always on the ball, was at the premiere of Iron Man in Los Angeles yesterday (damn living in America!). They managed to track down Brad Bose, who was Robert Downey Jr.’s trainer for the film. And apparently, Bose said that he starts training with Downey again real soon.

Apparently Downey has taken a break from training while he went to work on Ben Stiller’s Tropic Thunder, but Bose says they’ll be starting in again soon, so that they can have him ready for a deadline in 5 months.

That would suggest a production date early in 09, and a release possible a year later. Now we just gotta see if the first one is any good (I’m going in 12 hours… but maybe one of my colleagues will beat me to it!).
