Soon after WATCHMEN hits the big screen the story will continue in the DVD release of Tales of the Black Freighter.
Zack Snyder has revealed that he will release Tales of the Black Freighter the comic-within-a-film story on DVD just five days after WATCHMEN is released in theaters.
Originally this side story was to be included on the offical WATCHMEN DVD but now will have it's own release from Warner Bros.
The DVD will also have a documentary called Under The Hood that reveals character backstories.
The WATCHMEN DVD will then follow four months later in an "Ultimate" edition with everything edited together into a "megamovie."
