American indie-darling Parker Posey, star of Best in Show and Dazed and Confused has joined the cast of the third Blade movie, 'Blade: Trinity'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film is currently shooting in Vancouver with Wesley Snipes returning as the titular vampire hunter. No details of Posey's character were revealed, except that she is a vampire. This is the third installment of the fantasy film based on Marvel Comics characters.
The movie also stars Kris Kristofferson, Jessica Biel, John Doe's Dominic Purcell, WWE star Triple H. and Ryan Reynolds.
'Blade: Trinity' is written and directed by David Goyer; he also penned the scripts for the first two instalments.

Production on Blade: Trinity is set to get underway this month in Vancouver, British Columbia for a mid-2004 release.
Posey (Party Girl, The House of Yes, Scream 3) was most recently seen on the big screen in A Mighty Wind. Her next film is New Line's The Laws of Attraction with Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore.
